Duffryn Community Link Duffryn Community Link is committed to providing local services and equal opportunity to all whilst providing a range of activities to build community capacity and confidence. Social exclusion is a complex state that cannot be attributed to any one thing. It is something that has happened over time and therefore it will take time to unravel the particular intricacies that are specific to Duffryn and Tredegar Park Ward in order to develop an inclusive community. Flying Start Flying Start is to be a specific grant to local authorities initially until the financial year 2010-2011. It will aim to make a decisive difference to the life chances of children aged under 4 in the areas in which it runs. It is to be complementary to Cymorth early years funding and the Foundation Phase. It will also contribute to achieving the standards in the National Service Framework for Children, Young People and Maternity Services.

Dads' Space Dads-Space.com is a website aimed at all fathers and offers an entertaining and no-nonsense approach to parenting advice. The information available is based on fathers’ own experiences and up-to-date research; ranging from child development through to advice on what activities Dads can undertake with their children. Some of the more fun aspects to the site include blogs; reviews on games, books and toys; and competitions. Dads’ Space provides links to helpful resources and services as well as hosting its own helpdesk, where Dads can email one of our parenting advisors around any issues they may be having as a father.
