We are a friendly, voluntary group of parents and carers of children who access the Forest Children’s Centre. Our aim is to provide feedback on the development and direction of services offered within FCC for children and their families.
Forest Parent Group aims to:

- Offer mutual support;
- Have a collective voice around concerns common to parents and carers;
- Take issues forward to FCC Management Team;
- To work in partnership with FCC Management Team;
- To raise awareness of unmet needs;
- To raise awareness of issues faced by children, young people and their families
|

within the community;
- To share experience, knowledge and skills;
- To give feedback on services;
- To develop and maintain mutual respect between parents and practitioners;
- Fund raise for activities within the FCC for children and their families;
- Support and compliment the staff and activities being delivered within FCC;
- Assist with advertising of the group and peer mentoring to new parents.
The group meets monthly within FCC for formal meetings and in the Café area most mornings.
