Sunflower Tiny Tots

Sunflower Tiny Tots childcare is available within Woodlands, a modular building sited on the grounds of Forest Childrens Centre and Duffryn Infant School.

The playgroup is funded by Flying Start and operated by Duffryn Community Link.

The building brings together the child-focussed elements of Flying Start, and provide a safe & secure setting to provide childcare for eligible 2 year olds. There is also a room for one to one work with families. The new building is part of the Forest Children’s centre.

All of children in attendance live in the surrounding area. The group is registered for 24 children per session between the ages of 2 and 3.11 years. The playgroup is open

every term day and offers morning sessions 8.55 - 11.25am and afternoon sessions 12.25 - 2.55pm.

The playgroup has achieved Healthy Playgroup status and is registered with Care and Social Services Inspectorate Wales (CSSIW).

The staff are all experienced and well qualified. The staff treat the children with respect and ensure that they promote an environment of care and trust.
